- Our group companies: other companies and entities that are part of the HotMyDog Group.
- Our service providers: our business partners, suppliers and sub-contractors for the performance of any contract we enter into with you for example:

- Our franchisees: these are individuals or organisations who enter into an agreement with us to operate a HotMyDog® Street Food Place under the HotMyDog brand in various jurisdictions all over the world. Your personal information will not be shared with all of our franchisees but only those that are relevant to you.

We may also disclose your personal information to other third parties, for example:
- in the event that we sell or buy any business or assets we will disclose your personal information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets;

SHARING WITH FRANCHISEES, THIRD PARTIES AND COMPANIES WITHIN THE HOTMYDOG GROUP
Where we act as an independent controller of your personal information we will use your personal information for our own purposes. Sometimes franchisees, third parties and other companies in the HotMyDog group will act as controllers of your personal information that we collect. This is where they determine the purposes and means of processing your personal information. They will use your personal information for their own legitimate purposes as described in their respective privacy notices. WHERE WILL WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We will process your personal information both within and outside the European Economic Area (EEA) (this includes the United States of America, as amended from time to time).
When we transfer personal information outside the EEA, we will implement appropriate and suitable safeguards to ensure that such data will be protected as required by applicable data protection law, for example we will seek to anonymise it. If we can't anonymise your personal information, we will take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is protected. To do this we may use a set of standard data protection clauses which have been approved by the European Commission in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR. HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We will retain your personal information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal information are processed. The length of time we hold on to your personal information will vary according to what that information is and the reason for which it is being processed.
To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means. We also consider any applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements which may specify how long we should retain your personal information for.
Subject to the above, personal information about our customers will be retained by us for seven years from, the date of your communication with us to allow us to:
- respond to any queries or complaints you may have; and
- fulfil our obligations to the relevant tax authorities depending on where you are resident and other relevant governing bodies.
